Description
Heads the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Division of MBPLAP and is primarily responsible for:
Ensuring the successful setup of MBPLAP for the common function work packages, especially on the Accounting Department setup.
The overall management of the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Division.
The management of statutory, internal controls, and compliance obligations of the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Division.
The management of cash requirements, cash excess, and cash funding.
The reporting, review, and analysis from the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Division.
Implementation of projects directly related to the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Division.
Job Responsibilities
Support the setup and successful go-live of Project Mango.
Build and manage the Accounting Team.
Ensure the Accounting system (SWT) and other related systems (including SPM, SDB, ProQ, etc.)
are set up properly for smooth operation of the Logistic Center.
Set up the relevant Policies and Processes for the new entity.
Support the setup of the necessary agreements for the new entity.
Monitor the common function support for the project.
1) Management of Financial Targets
Support achievement of Profit Targets and RoS.
Monitor G&A targets.
Management of operations.
Ensure smooth and timely closing of accounts and HQ reporting.
Ensure efficient and timely management of statutory audits and accounts.
Ensure details of all accounts are efficiently managed and kept up-to-date.
Establish a routine and timely monthly review and report.
Support the standardization of processes and systems.
2) Management of Statutory Requirements and Projects
Ensure statutory requirements fulfillment and timeliness.
Ensure efficient and timely management of audits and accounts.
Ensure successful implementation of projects.
3) Management of Shared Services Function and Team Dedication
Manage the expectations of shared services function.
Manage and develop team members and support a diverse workforce.
Ensure adequate training coverage for team members.
4) Management of Customer and Vendor Relationships
Manage the overall expectations from customers and vendors.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Economics or equivalent.
Experience
At least 10 years post-graduate experience in Accounting, Treasury, and Taxation.
Experience in SAP system.
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Management of a team of assistant managers/executives.
Ability to work with higher management of the organization.
Understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of tax statutory planning, compliance, and optimization.#J-18808-Ljbffr
