Head of Admissions Portfolio - Malaysia
Purpose of Role
The Head of Admissions Portfolio is responsible for leading and driving enrolments to our growing portfolio of schools in Malaysia and maintaining direct responsibility for all pertinent aspects of the student recruitment process. The role takes leads and drives part of the portfolio of 14 schools across Malaysia.
This is a senior role, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Admissions - Malaysia, while working closely with Marketing, Learning, Retention and Finance to drive student enrolments that meet ambitious targets. The role will oversee the comprehensive enrolment process, including working closely with Marketing on managing lead conversion to enrolment. This is a role for someone who is a natural leader and is comfortable with using large amounts of data strategically.
Our ideal candidate is a professional with demonstrated experience in student recruitment and enrolment (ideally in the commercial K-12 education sector). We are looking for an individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret data and report to all organisational levels with tact and sensitivity.

Regional Head of Admissions – Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibility 1: Ensure that the defined admissions procedures and processes in schools are consistently implemented to maximise enrolments:
• Take ownership of and hold schools accountable to agreed admissions targets, with the ability to communicate clear directions.
• Ability to extract, analyse, process, and use admissions data in driving for enhancement and transparency to meet the desired outcomes for enrolments.
• Participating in the schools' recruiting process by planning, coordinating, and overseeing promotional events, school campus tours, and other admissions activities.
• Working collaboratively and proactively to continuously enhance the Centralised Admissions Procedures in the Region and ensure all school processes map across the ISP reporting framework.
• Ensure the procedures are clearly defined and processed on and between the group CRM and MIS. Efficiently manage and nurture qualified leads and appointments to successful, timely enrolment.
• Help schools shape and deliver successful processes to better align ISP admissions procedures and reporting by organising workshops to troubleshoot issues and find solutions.
• Develop the admissions toolkit based on best practices and regional compliance for seamless student enrolment.
• Create an Admissions Action Group in the Region to better evaluate and champion efficient enhancement of the admissions processes across schools.
• Where applicable, to identify and drive for B2B network and agency management.
• Keep up to date on market offerings, trends and country visa regulations to ensure offers conditional on meeting requirements are correctly identified and processed.
• Ensure the assessment process for each school in Malaysia is defined and is a well-managed, personal and positive experience for families.
• Coaching and continuously developing the schools' admission teams.
Key Responsibility 2: Ensure regions and schools work to enrolment targets and provide accurate and timely data reporting:
• Help communicate, agree and deliver school enrolment targets.
• Streamline schools to understand the enrolment and pipeline reporting format, focusing on forecasting accuracy and data sanity.
• Support schools with consistent tracking and reporting of their sales funnel and conversion rates tracking.
• Evaluate and report progress of enrolment targets on a weekly basis with schools to the Regional SLT.
• Responsible for consolidating weekly pacing for enrolments from schools with indicative anecdotes on action plans to meet enrolment targets for the Region.
• Oversee systems and data processing required to support the admissions process, ensuring accurate reporting information for the Region.
Key Responsibility 3: Ensure a high level of support, communication, and customer experience both in working with schools and in how they are working within their communities:
• Lead and take ownership of ISP's Admissions work in Malaysia.
• Create an annual incentive plan for all admissions staff to help target achievement.
• Ensure school admissions teams work closely with marketing teams to deliver enrolment targets and harmonised reporting.
• Deliver frequent (at least termly) admissions workshops to ensure admissions staff are fully trained in processes and procedures.
• Work with schools to ensure continuous active engagement with feeder schools and local businesses. Ensure that the schools are kept up to date and can maximise ISP's group-wide partnerships in Malaysia.
Stakeholders:
• Internal: Campus Principals, Marketing, School Admissions leaders, Finance as well as respective Heads of International and National Schools.
• External: Parents.
Line Management:
• Reporting to Postholder: Direct reporting - Regional Admissions and Matrix reporting - School Admission teams.

Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing/Business/Management or a related field.
Experience and Skills:
• Proven experience in admissions management, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
• Strong relationship management skills across teams within schools.
• Experience using database/CRM tools, preferably Hubspot.
• Ability to multi-task and be well-organised.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Professional, reliable and can maintain confidentiality.
