RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, resource, and deliver Art lessons within the Junior School Curriculum for identified classes, in accordance with School expectations and requirements.
Create enabling environments in which student development flourishes.
Monitor student progress in accordance with the school's assessment and tracking policy and practices.
Contribute effectively and regularly to the school's Art department co-curricular programme.
Take an active role in leading, preparing for and contributing to the whole school and Art department initiatives such as exhibitions, termly displays and competitions.
Take initiative regarding personal and professional development and learning.
Remain up to date with developments and best practice in Junior School education.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will be required to have the following:
A B.Ed.
or Degree and PGCE with exceptional subject knowledge.
At least three years of experience teaching Art in a Primary setting.
We are seeking to appoint talented, highly motivated and well-qualified individuals.
You should have a proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
A mindset which understands all students have the potential for top performance and the drive and passion to enable them to do so.
Experience and willingness to contribute to a growing co-curriculum programme including art clubs, school productions, and other whole-school Art events.
Experience in a reputable international school would be highly regarded.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
The school will offer successful candidates a highly competitive salary package including housing allowance, end of service gratuity, medical insurance and airfares for the teacher, spouse and dependents along with fees remission for up to two dependent children.
The post will be offered subject to satisfactory references, a medical examination, International Child Protection Certificate & successful Background Check.
