Job Description Strategic Planning: Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and execute the company's technology strategy, aligning it with overall business goals. Technical Leadership: Provide strategic vision and leadership for the company's technology and engineering teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Software Development: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions. Cloud Computing: Demonstrate expertise in cloud computing, particularly with AWS, to optimize infrastructure, enhance performance, and ensure scalability of our systems. Vendor Management: Effectively manage relationships with external vendors and partners, negotiating contracts, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. Technical Architecture: Lead the development and implementation of robust technical architecture, ensuring that systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices. Team Building and Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. The Successful Applicant Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior engineering leadership role, ideally within the fintech industry. Strong background in software development and architecture, with a track record of successful project delivery. In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, specifically with AWS. Demonstrated experience in vendor management and contract negotiation. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
