Head of Entrepreneur Development SectionTo provide overall direction to develop, propose, secure, implement and monitor commercial and statutory projects/jobs related to entrepreneur development to meet overall business objectives, growth, and sustainability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership oversight in delivering growth and strong financial performance and long-term strategic development and business plans.
Develop strategies and tactics towards the diversification of revenue streams to improve the bottom line where business ventures (local and international) align with the company's long-term direction.
Formulate, strategize, plan and execute short-term and long-term comprehensive sales and customer engagement plans.
Develop collaborative relationships with relevant business partners to grow the business.
Provide leadership and direct sales operations to ensure new market expansion and formulate execution plans.
Develop new and value-added services based on projected demand to ensure Section viability in the market.
Provide tactical expertise in business/operations improvement processes to enhance efficiency and productivity in line with the company's policy and guidelines.
Provide strategic and tactical input in the planning and implementation of human capital development initiatives to ensure indoctrination of SIRIM's corporate culture and a workforce that is highly motivated to achieve the common goals of SIRIM.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Art & Design, Engineering, Science, or Business Management with extensive experience/exposure in Entrepreneur Development Programme.
Minimum 16 – 20 years of working experience within a similar capacity.
Experience in certification requirements e.g.
Halal, MeSTI, GMP, ISO9001 etc.
Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong ability in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Exceptional presentation and leadership skills.
