Job ResponsibilitiesEffectively manage the department/area (Financial Reporting and Accounting) conforming to established regulations and procedures, ensuring operating efficiency and accuracy by:
Organizing, coordinating, implementing, and supervising an effective operational structure which efficiently deploys staff and other available resources;
Resolving operating errors through correction and taking appropriate action to prevent recurrence;
Delegating and reviewing work preparation, evaluating operations, and implementing procedural changes that meet Bank regulations and improve the efficiency/accuracy of workflows;
Ensuring routine operations conform with established regulations, policies, and procedures according to reporting requirements.
Assist in the attainment of Branch growth to generate maximum business volumes and related revenues by:
Assisting with the preparation of an annual Profit Plan;
Assisting with the control of Branch expenditures and the collection of revenues to monitor/evaluate the Branch's position, and assist in the formulation of revised plans to achieve goals.
Assist with the development and implementation of measures to ensure customer service is consistent with established and prescribed standards by:
Ensuring staff performance with customers is courteous, responsive, and accurate;
Ensuring staff acquire and maintain appropriate knowledge of relevant retail and commercial products;
Ensuring staff maintain the confidentiality of Bank and customer information;
Ensuring staff assume full responsibility for all customer enquiries/concerns/complaints directed to them by resolving those matters to the customer's satisfaction or by referring the customer to the appropriate level of officer;
Demonstrating the standards of service expected of staff in their interactions with customers.
Utilize and develop subordinate staff to achieve branch operating requirements/objectives through:
Effective deployment of staff according to operational demands to ensure efficient workflow;
Training/cross-training in new procedures and positions;
Ongoing evaluation of performances, staff planning, and assisting with human resources administration including the recruitment of appropriately qualified clerical/support staff;
Ensure compliance with the Bank's compliance program and report any unusual or suspicious activities; ensure all record-keeping and operating practices conform to established policies and procedures.
Perform the duties of a Correction Coordinator, ensuring all corrections are properly done and verifying backdated corrections are posted at the designated terminal.#J-18808-Ljbffr
