Head Of Finance (Sarawak)

About our client:This company is a market leader in the bitumen/ashpalt industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across Malaysia. They are looking to hire a head of finance to be based in Kuching to support the senior management, lead the finance team and work closely with counterparts in Kuala Lumpur.Your key responsibilities includes:Take charge of full set reporting, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A and complianceHandle financial projections, monitor performance against budget.Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership complianceCo-ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirementsManage and guide a lean team towards excellenceSupport on audits, statutory reporting and taxThe ideal candidate should have:At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and accounting scope from any industries.A proven track record of being a key contributor to the business's commercial value.Experience liaising with bankersStrong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
