Job Summary The Director of Human Resource is responsible to plan, lead, direct and manage all Human Resource initiatives and activities covering talent acquisition, employee/ retails relations, rewards, performance management, learning and talent development and other HR functions to support the achievement of the Companys objectives.
Responsibilities Develop and review strategic HR policies and processes to ensure legal compliance and to align with the Companys mission and talent strategy. Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organisations goals and strategy related to talent acquisition and retention. Enhance the organizations human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. To design, review and implement systems and processes for assessing, identifying and reviewing talent pool and to implement Succession Planning and Talent Management initiatives to build and develop talents. To review the Companys Compensation & Benefits policies and practices and make appropriate recommendations to the Management to ensure that Companys remain competitive in the market place. To review and implement performance management programmes including setting of performance objectives and measurement of performance. To ensure that the performance program and reward system are competitive and align with individual performance, business performance and work culture. Oversee all core HR departmental areas, including payroll, employee relations, compensation & benefits, training & development, recruitment, and workforce administration. Manage employee relations and conduct conflict management and resolution. Develop and manage performance management systems and conduct performance evaluations. Conduct market surveys and analyse the results to identify opportunities for improvement. Stay up-to-date with changes in labour laws and regulations and update HR policies and procedures. Manage HR budgets and providing reporting HR activities to the Management. Lead, provide guidance and support where needed to the HR & Admin. staff. Undertake ad-hoc HR projects/assignments as and when required by Management from time to time. Requirements Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Studies/Administration or related field. Minimum 15 years of experience in HR Department, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the beauty, F&B, or hospitality industries. Proven track record of leading, influencing and facilitating large scale HR strategic initiatives and programmes. Well versed in Malaysian Labour Laws and strong knowledge of HR best practices. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with strong stakeholder management. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills. Must be willing to travel. Remuneration MYR 9,000 - MYR 12,000
