RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and implement the overall HR strategy to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on people-related matters.
Drive organizational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.
Diversity & Inclusion:
Design and execute D&I programs to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of D&I initiatives and ensure continuous improvement.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to promote diversity in recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
Serve as a champion for equity, advocating for inclusive policies and practices across the organization.
Compensation & Benefits:
Oversee the design and implementation of competitive and equitable compensation structures.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding pay practices and benefits.
Evaluate and enhance benefits programs to meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure the organization remains an employer of choice.
Union Management:
Build and maintain effective relationships with union representatives.
Lead collective bargaining negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and labor laws.
Address and resolve union-related issues in a timely and constructive manner.
Act as a liaison between management and union representatives to foster collaboration and communication.
Talent Management:
Lead efforts in talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
Oversee leadership development programs and succession planning.
Drive performance management processes to align employee performance with organizational goals.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Foster a positive and collaborative workplace environment.
Act as a mediator in complex employee relations issues and provide strategic guidance.
Implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
HR Operations:
Oversee HR compliance, policies, and procedures.
Ensure the effective use of HR systems and technology to streamline processes and enhance the employee experience.
Monitor and report on key HR metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced academic background with a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (Master's degree strongly preferred).
At least 10 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
Strong in C&B and Culture Engagement will be an added advantage.
Profound comprehension of Malaysian labor laws and regulations, complemented by international HR expertise.
Exemplary communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Astute strategic thinker and adept problem-solver, accustomed to critical decision-making and business-impact assessments.
Exceptional leadership acumen and a history of cultivating high-performing teams.
An established reputation for ethical integrity and professionalism.
Willing to work at Shah Alam/Subang area.
