DescriptionJob Title: Head of Learning and Development
Reports to: Head of Retail
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead the overall Learning & Development (L&D) Department.
Evaluate and develop Training Managers and Field trainers to ensure quality of training execution and their personal development.
Support and execute both International and Local Training Programmes to drive excellent customer service and selling standards to optimize sales.
Maintain detailed knowledge on product, selling and training techniques.
Drive Talent Recruitment and development both with existing staff and new recruits via our Succession Planning Programme.
Create and execute a strategic yearly Business Plan based on comprehensive TNA to achieve company objectives and remain competitive within the industry.
Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to train, develop, and coach with enthusiasm and willingness to inspire.
Flexible approach to work with the ability to respond to changing business priorities.
Customer service oriented.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Strive for quality and excellence.
Possess own transport and willing to travel as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a commercially focused role within a Learning and Development function within a reputable brand.
Proven experience in delivering Operations and/or Sales Training Programmes with a strong customer-focused approach.
Experience working with new product development training or exposure to product launch materials.
Knowledge of the beauty/toiletries industry with a passion for skincare.
Previous experience of delivering train-the-trainer style materials.
