Head Of Legal, Compliance & Regulatory

Key responsibilities Oversee and direct all legal, compliance, and regulatory activities, ensuring adherence to industry laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities, including the MCMC, to advocate for compliance and facilitate regulatory processes.Develop and implement compliance policies that align with legal requirements and best practices for the communication and multimedia sector.Provide strategic guidance to senior management on regulatory changes and advise on mitigating business risks.Conduct regular assessments of legal, compliance, and regulatory frameworks to identify improvement areas and maintain alignment with current standards.Lead cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that all teams understand and adhere to regulatory policies and risk management procedures.Manage risk assessments and compliance audits to proactively address regulatory challenges.
Role requirements Experience: A minimum of 10 years in legal, regulatory, or licensing roles within the communication and multimedia industry.Industry Expertise: Experience with a telecommunications service provider and/or familiarity with MCMC guidelines and practices is highly preferred.Education: Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in compliance are advantageous.
