The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all manufacturing processes, from the factory floor to management level, with a keen focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, adeptness with data-driven decision-making, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing ecosystem.
The ChallengesLead and manage the manufacturing operations of the company, ensuring adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and safety protocols.
Analyze production data and implement strategies to optimize fixed and variable costs, minimize scrap, and enhance overall productivity.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency, cost, quality, employee engagement, scrap reduction, and health & safety.
Drive initiatives to achieve optimum headcount and workforce efficiency while maintaining high morale and performance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges and ensure smooth material flow and production scheduling.
Monitor and manage production volumes and profit margins to achieve business targets and strategic objectives.
Implement and enforce best practices for health and safety throughout the manufacturing operations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the manufacturing team.
What It TakesBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role within the construction materials industry, particularly in managing manufacturing KPIs related to cost, productivity, quality, and safety.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization.
