WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Head of Marketing and CSP – Beauty & Personal Care MYSG is responsible for building a high-performance Marketing and CSP team, developing MYSG strategic commercial plans based on a thorough understanding of market dynamics, identifying consumer and shopper insights to maximize business potentials, and driving category thought leadership with strategic partners to deliver sustainable business growth, profitability, and competitiveness.This role also includes reporting to the head of CMI and Head of DMC to ensure end-to-end marketing and commerce execution and talent development.
The role also sits on the Country Leadership Team/board and plays an instrumental role in the overall strategy of the company and the development, wellbeing, safety, and engagement of employees.
Reporting to: MYSG General ManagerDirect reports: Category Marketing Manager & CSP Manager, Media Lead, CMI Lead.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership:Develop long-term strategy and short-term winning brand growth plans to drive growth, P&L improvement, and win in MYSG market.Brand Innovation:Lead the development of local initiatives and deployment of the Global innovation funnel.Media and Communication Strategy:Oversee and ensure success in social media strategy by partnering effectively with media agencies and local media partners.Portfolio and Marketing Strategy:Lead the development and execution of a competitive local portfolio strategy, driving demand creation and nurturing key brands while anticipating market trends and consumer needs.P&L Accountability:Strong P&L acumen to ensure efficient brand and portfolio investment to deliver strong sustainable growth and effective cost management aligned with long-term business objectives.Channel Strategy and Execution:Oversee the full integration of Channel Trade Category Plans with Brand Marketing Plan with CBD team to ensure excellent execution.Integrated Business Planning (IBP):Lead the S&OP process for BPC category with a cross-functional team. Effectively lead the execution of JTBD into Joint Business Planning with key customers.People and Culture Leadership:Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team (marketing, customer strategy planning, CMI, DMC).KEY REQUIREMENTS:
More than 10 years of robust business experience in Marketing; cross-functional work experience would be an advantage.Vast experience and exposure in Health & Beauty and Pharmacy.Strong experience in innovation deployment with a great eye for beauty.Well-versed in crafting brand communication strategies to bring to life above-the-line and below-the-line.Proven experience in developing and implementing effective Integrated Brand Marketing Plans and Joint Business Plans with key customers.Proven project and budget management experience.Strong understanding of P&L management, financial acumen, and the ability to drive cost efficiencies while delivering revenue growth.Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing and motivated teams.Deep knowledge of industry trends, consumer and shopper insights, and competitive dynamics within the local market.#J-18808-Ljbffr
