Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing and PR to drive our brand's growth and reputation. This role will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and PR strategies aligned with our company goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:


-Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies that align with company objectives.


-Conduct SWOT analysis to identify new marketing opportunities and industry trends.


-Plan and manage budgets for marketing campaigns and sales targets.


-Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, events, and traditional media. 


-Manage and analyse marketing campaign performance, optimizing strategies based on data insights.


-Build and maintain a comprehensive public relations strategy, including media relations and community engagement. 


-Develop strong relationships with key media outlets, authors, and industry partners for high-level press coverage.


-Draft and manage media materials, including press releases, briefing documents, and reports. 


-Lead and mentor a team of marketing and PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Working Conditions:


-This position will be based at our HQ office in Section 33, Shah Alam.


-Working days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. The candidate should be prepared for flexibility when required, including working extra hours and weekends or public holidays, to ensure the successful execution of time-sensitive initiatives.

; Requirements:-


-Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.


-Strong experience in a leadership role within marketing and/or PR, preferably in the book retail industry.


-Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns consistently.


-Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices, including SEO and social media marketing.


-Familiarity with CRM software, analytical tools, and social media management platforms.


-Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.


-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, employing a data-driven approach to decision-making.


-Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


-A genuine passion for books and the book retail industry.
