DescriptionHead of Planning & Performance ManagementThe Head of Planning & Performance Management is responsible for leading the management of all expenses across multiple business/strategic support units. This role involves directing a team of financial analysts in monitoring and analyzing expenses enterprise-wide, formulating and managing corporate financial policy and plans.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and direct a team of financial analysts in monitoring and analyzing expenses across the enterprise.
Evaluate the effectiveness of current expense management policy.
Formulate and recommend policy changes or improvements to senior leadership.
Direct business/strategy support unit planning, budgeting, accounting, and provide expense reporting and analysis to business/strategic support unit leadership.
Ensure governance of financial activities and consistent delivery of all financial information, data, and analysis for business/strategic support units.
Provide financial analysis to determine expense trends in the industry and marketplace.
Coordinate with business/strategy support unit leadership to implement expense policy changes.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in finance or a related field and 12+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
Experience managing business models aligned with budgets and company disbursements.
Experience with analysis, risk evaluation, forecasting economic trends, and enforcing pecuniary policies and guidelines.
Experience with policy and compliance regulations, ISO standards, and federal edicts.
Experience managing fiscal tools, models, reports, and reviewing and analyzing budgets.
Insurance industry experience.
MBA or CPA certification.
Experience building and maintaining internal and external business relationships.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per year
