What you'll be doing
The Head of Production Department is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the production plant, focusing on productivity, quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulations. This role includes:
Production Management : Develop and manage production schedules, optimize production processes, monitor deadlines, and oversee quality control to ensure high standards and cost efficiency.
Maintenance Coordination : Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability, schedule preventive maintenance, and promptly address breakdowns.
Turnaround Planning : Lead planning, review, and implementation of plant overhauls, shutdowns, and improvements, ensuring resource availability and operational continuity.
Quality & Compliance : Implement quality control measures, ensure compliance with ISO standards, and liaise with authorities for inspections and certifications, including DOE and DOSH.
Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) : Enforce HSE policies and compliance with local regulations, conduct risk assessments, and manage emergency responses to protect people, assets, and the environment.
Reporting & Documentation : Prepare daily/monthly production reports, maintain technical documentation, analyze plant issues, and update SOPs as needed.
Training & Development : Conduct training for staff, assess knowledge gaps, recommend further training, and coordinate with HR for skill development within the department.
Inventory & Budget Management : Track raw materials and inventory, prepare purchasing plans, develop annual budgets, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
What we're looking for
Education:Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:Solid background in Oil & Gas production, including wastewater treatment.
Skills:Proficiency in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Strong knowledge of local government regulations on wastewater and safety.
Ability to evaluate and enhance workplace safety through effective HIRARC implementation.Why Join Us?
