POSITION OVERVIEW
The Head of Sales & Distribution will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our distribution operations to drive growth and efficiency across the region. Based in either Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur , this individual will lead our distribution team, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies, optimizing distribution processes, and managing a significant revenue pool.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Leadership and Strategy: Head and direct the Distribution Company, setting strategic goals and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
2. Route to Market: Develop and implement effective route-to-market strategies to enhance product reach and market penetration.
3. Trade Spend and Terms: Oversee trade spend management, negotiate trade terms, and optimize spending to maximize returns.
4. Channel Protocols: Establish and enforce channel protocols to ensure consistency and effectiveness in distribution practices.
5. Merchandising and Shopper Marketing: Drive in-store shopper marketing activations and oversee merchandising strategies to boost brand visibility and consumer engagement.
6. Distribution and Sales Force Management: Manage distribution logistics, field sales force operations, and related processes. Develop and manage compensation packages and incentive schemes for the field force.
7. Systems and Tools: Implement and maintain distribution systems, tools (including handheld devices), and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
8. Distribution Optimization: Optimize drop size, drop points, and distribution frequency to improve supply chain efficiency.
9. People Management: Exhibit strong people management skills at the shop floor level, fostering a motivated and high-performing team.
10. Revenue Responsibility: Manage a revenue pool of $200 million.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Significant experience in Sales & Distribution management is MANDATORY
Strong leadership and strategic thinking.
Expertise in FMCG distribution and B2C operations, with deep knowledge of route-to-market strategies, trade spend management, channel protocols, merchandising, in-store shopper marketing, and field sales force management.
Candidates from the FMCG pool is a REQUIREMENT
Excellent people management and team-building skills.
Proven ability to manage large revenue pools and optimize distribution processes
