Job Description Develop and continuously improve the company's contract manufacturing supplier base with key stakeholders. Plan, execute and monitor department milestones according to department goals. Identify training needs and organize the relevant training for the commodity management team. Oversee the Sourcing of new requirements for assembly and integration requirements. Manage the implementation of changes with the contract manufacturers. Be the escalation path for assigned suppliers for other groups (e.g. Purchasing, Quality). Drive spend analysis of direct and indirect spend of assigned commodities. Market research for relevant commodities. Develop and align the contract manufacturing strategies with key stakeholders. Implement supplier strategies and agreements to support business needs. Lead the supplier relationship and engagement for assigned suppliers. Drive and continuously improve the performance measurement and review process. Implement sourcing strategies in relation with the companys Supply Chain to achieve target on quality, cost savings and material lead time Set up cost savings program and drive to achieve defined goals. Drive lead time improvement programs. Supplier evaluation, development, capacity, and performance. management to ensure timely order fulfillment with best quality, cost, delivery and service performance. Ensure compliance to statutory requirements on contract applications, address the ramifications and the usage of specific contract clauses, terms and conditions in protecting the companys interest. Collaborate with the quality group on supplier audit plans and execution. To drive on continuous improvement initiatives in supporting overall supply chain goals Requirements Education : Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent field. Experience : Minimum of 10 years' experience in supply chain. Engineering or procurement engineering with capital equipment desired. Skills/ Technical Requirements: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, & Word & Excel. Experience with Material Resources Planning ("MRP systems") is a must. Strong negotiation and analytical skills are required. Must be capable of converting data into information that can be utilized to make key decisions.
