Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely tax handling, including VAT returns, in consultation with auditors and tax advisors.
Manage organization-wide tax services to optimize positions.
Own consolidated tax position and disclosure notes for IFRS group reporting.
Maintain strong banking relationships, monitor loans, and ensure covenant compliance.
Forecast funding needs, monitor against covenants, and highlight financial headroom and risks.
Lead relationship-building with financial institutions, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
Provide leadership, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Collaborate with the executive team to align tax and treasury with broader financial goals.
Identify and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, including currency and interest rate fluctuations.
Requirements:A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in tax management, treasury, and financial risk mitigation, with at least 10 years in a management role.
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
Strong leadership and team management skills to lead, develop, and motivate the tax and treasury department.
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle complex financial scenarios.
