Do you want to change the entire financing market in Malaysia and drive a USD2m business to a USD20m business in the next three years?
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer you will own and drive the Unsecured Financing business.
This means full P&L ownership of a major business line within the largest financial aggregator in Malaysia.
More importantly, you will change how millions (yes) of Malaysians research, apply for, and obtain financing.
What You'll DoSet and own the short-term KPIs and long-term strategy for the Unsecured Personal Financing business at RinggitPlus.
Drive and oversee the financial performance of the Unsecured Personal Financing business.
Identify areas for growth and address the root causes of problems in P&L performance.
Manage the creation, development, launch and growth of new web products and services for consumers and clients.
Report on both product and financial performance of the Unsecured Personal Financing business to senior management and the Board.
Work with the Data Science team to analyse, identify and build credit and segment models for both macrocycle and micro individual trends in the credit industry.
Work with the Product team to continuously iterate and improve the service we provide consumers by researching, applying and getting matched for the best financing product for them.
Work with the Marketing Team to make sure we are marketing the right products to the right audiences.
Work with the Operations Team to ensure that customers coming to RinggitPlus get the product that is best for them.
Work with the Sales Team to align Client goals with RinggitPlus's goals and to make sure RinggitPlus remains the market leader for choice and approvability in the Unsecured Financing industry.
Work with all teams to make sure our consumers enjoy the most convenient experience and best customer service.
Who You Are6+ years of work experience, the majority of which should be in B2C products and services.
Financial services (Banking/Insurance) experience is highly advantageous.
P&L and Product / Business Line ownership experience with a strong commercial sense - you will need to know the unit economics at RinggitPlus on both the consumer (marketing) and industry (sales) side and all our key partners and clients to find win-win sustainable growth opportunities.
Credit risk evaluation - knowledge of various credit risk and credit portfolio management frameworks is a must, with knowledge of statistical or analytical techniques for assessing credit risk.
Problem-solving and analytical - you will need to separate the signal from the noise when evaluating business performance.
Business scaling experience - taking an idea for a product or service through the development and launch, or an existing business (line) and growing it 10x.
Great team player and influencer - as Head of Unsecured Financing you will working closely with every department within the Operational teams at RinggitPlus to deliver on our month-to-month business performance and long-term vision for the product.
Strategic execution - you will need to think several steps ahead to deliver real value to all stakeholders and share a clear vision for how you want to change the Unsecured Financing industry.
Ambition - we are not looking for someone to just execute a plan and deliver KPIs.
