Description Primary Objective: Managing the assigned Property & Casualty Portfolio (engineering, risk surveyors, all Line of Businesses (LOB) from Banca Commercial and Banca Corporate) to ensure sustainable growth and meeting the company's objectives Provide technical and business support to subordinates, reinsurance, processing, claims, underwriting operations and business channels in achieving the overall business objectives of RHB Insurance.Active participating in leading the transformation initiatives which include Project Tapis and Frontline Underwriting approaches i.e.
revamping the current underwriting structure, improving the technical skills and open market approach of each underwriters and the overall talent management.Key Responsibilities: Responsible on all Property and Casualty, P&C underwriting matters to be aligned with the Company Underwriting and Authority's (PIAM, BNM etc.)
Guidelines.Technical and business support to staff and Sales/Branches on the quotation and issuance of documentation e.g.
Policy and Endorsement.Monitor & ensure all documents received from Sales/Branches and processed/underwritten by Underwriting staff are done according to the guidelines and submit to CPD for policies & endorsements issuance.Monitor loss ratio on all P&C portfolios and implement control in order to ensure profit.Liaise with RI department for risk exceeding Company capacity.Signing & checking of policies and endorsements as per internal and external guidelinesEnsuring compliance of Authority's Guidelines relating to UnderwritingTransformation of Key Underwriters to become Frontline Underwriters.Established Single Contact Point for Underwriting Support on Regional BasisTransformation of Key Marketing Staff (around 25 Marketing Staff to become Frontline Underwriters).
The transformation of Conventional Underwriting to Frontline Underwriting is utmost urgent for the preparation of Detariffication and Open Market environment in the coming Years.
Requirements Requirements: Bachelor Degree - •Degree qualification and above.
