Occupational Health & Safety (Human Resources & Recruitment)
This role is responsible for overseeing all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities across the organization, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture. Key duties include managing HSE programs, monitoring safety standards, supporting emergency response efforts, and collaborating with both internal teams and external authorities to minimize risks and maintain safe operations.
Job Responsibilities
Focal person in all HSE related matters, supporting office, yard operations and assisting project team.
Responsible in planning and implementing HSE programs in company including HSE meetings, trainings and HSE campaign.
Monitor all ESH issues centrally and make recommendations in liaison with the Senior Manager to HODs and Divisional Heads for corrective or preventive actions.
Monitoring and reporting of HSE statistics.
Identifying potential hazards and disposing of it correctly.
Determining ways of reducing risks and standardizing health and safety in order to remain consistent.
Conduct Routine HSE Inspections and walkabouts.
Monitor and conduct Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Conditions (UAUC) program.
Coordinate Toolbox Talks and Safety Briefings.
Assist in Risk Assessments Sessions.
Support Monitoring of ISO 45001 and all related regulatory requirement implementation.
Engage in Health and Environmental Monitoring.
Planning and conducting annual emergency drills.
Support Emergency Response Team in Incident Investigations.
Preparing budget and controlling Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) inventory.
Liaising with external authorities related to HSE.
Promoting safety culture and mitigating potential risk and hazard in operation.
Preparing, monitoring and updating Permit to Work (PTW) and expiring date for Inspection Certificate.
Support Project (Site).
Support in Tendering (HSE) part.
Job Requirements:
Registered with DOSH.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer literate with analytical skills.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health Safety certified by relevant authorities.
Certified and Registered OSHE practitioner with DOSH/DOE or other related institutions is an added advantage.
At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in a similar environment.
Able to follow and comply withArmada Petroleum Sdn Bhd's policies.
Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and OSHA Act 1994 is a must/advantage.
Self-motivated, resourceful, proactive, and can-do attitude with an eye for detail and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and be a good team player.

Strong verbal/written communication skills. Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with partners in remote locations.

Strong stakeholder engagement and management capability.
A mature team player, resourceful, self-motivated with high integrity.
Candidate must be able to work at Kapar, Selangor and willing to travel to Miri, Sarawak.
