Job Role and responsibilities: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the organizational strategy, practices, and processes to ensure the company maintains a world-class logistics organization. This role oversees efficient logistic solutions within budget, customer billing, financial reconciliation, and good warehousing practices. The Logistics Manager will ensure compliance with EHS, 5S, warehousing security policy, and international standards while driving productivity, cost reduction strategies, and overall customer satisfaction.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop organizational strategy, practices, processes and key performance indicators that will provide the company with a world class Logitics organization. Efficient logistic solutions within budget to achieve targeted objectives Customer Billing and AR Follow up, Financial Reconciliation Ensure Good warehousing practices so as to follow FIFO in dispatches which will avoid accumulation of old stock. Ensure EHS, 5S and Warehousing security policy Upgrading Good warehousing practices to align with international standards Design or implement process that support warehousing strategies, productivity measurement, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies. Develop procedures for coordination with other functional areas, dealer distributor, Sales team, marketing, finance, CSD, or quality assurance. To frame the Process and policies of 3PL To ensure KPI's for all team members Ensure adherence to statutory & legal compliances Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution. Timely feedback to sales team regarding their queries Mapping with WMS & Warehouse in managing inventory, stock levels, storage techniques with the warehouse Prepare the warehouse operation SOP to smooth operation in warehouse. Adhere team to follow PI process for stock accuracy, RCA and CAPA Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service. Dealing with GST authority and customer related issue of E-way bill, short supply, transit damage, transit insurance and claim process. Leading load optimization, route planning and multi delivery model implementation. Tracking Rs./Kg. cost Vs. Budget and against last year and drive reduction on that. While working with sales functions to drive overall customer satisfaction in a cost-efficient manner Quarterly Business Review (QBR) OTIF delivery (By Tracker system communicating with the customer till material get delivered to customer premise
