Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Senior Manager (HOD), Warehouse & LogisticKey RoleManage raw material operations and facilities, from goods receiving and storage, to part preparation and issuing, ensuring high standards of inventory control and warehouse environment.Key ResponsibilitySupervises the daily operation and administration of the warehouse facility.Generates work assignments, manages schedules, sets priorities, assigns daily tasks, and reviews employee performance.Coordinates and prioritizes activities of warehouse employees engaged in receiving, tagging, maintaining, storing, packing, and shipping inventory.Assigns appropriate resources, determines objectives and procedures, and monitors results to ensure inventory is accurate.Ensures materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance with established procedures and Government guidelines/regulations and meet contract requirements.Manages procedures and controls for hazardous material shipments.Ensures safety of workforce by educating employees on proper procedures and safety guidelines, strives to achieve an accident-free workplace and attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcome.Ensures good 5S, health and safety practices in the warehouse.To carry out any other duties as directed by the company.Report ToSenior Operation ManagerKey AccountabilityTo oversee the overall activities performed by the inventory teams in his/her respective line.To be accountable for sub-contracting management.To oversee the quality of the goods received.To be accountable for on-time and correct delivery of raw material to the Production department.To be accountable for on-time data entry i.e. GR, GI etc.To ensure effective and excellent management of consignment purchase.Problem-solving abilities particularly at the executive level.Basic warehouse management knowledge.Prerequisite Skills & KnowledgeThorough understanding of procurement policy and procedure including purchasing, shipping, delivery, receiving, preparing, and issuing.Full understanding of the sales and production cycle of the air-conditioning industry and ability to comply with the procurement and inventory activities for best industry practice.Knowledge of QMS ISO9001:2015, 5S, and production safety policy and procedure.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Malaysia?What's your expected monthly basic salary?Which of the following types of qualifications do you have?How many years' experience do you have as a Head of Department?Have you worked in a role where you were responsible for stock control?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?Join Daikin Malaysia Sdn.
