About the HotelHyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara will mark the first Hyatt House hotel in Malaysia and South East Asia. Located in Mont 'Kiara, an affluent suburb located five kilometers from downtown Kuala Lumpur, the hotel will feature approximately 298 guestrooms, a three-meal restaurant, 3,100 square feet of meeting space, a fitness centre, and a sky pool. Scheduled to open in 2018, the hotel will be part of a larger mixed-use development, Arcoris Mont 'Kiara, which will feature business suites, small home offices ("SoHo"), residential units, and a retail plaza.

Position OverviewWe are currently looking for an experienced Host – Kitchen/Commis/Cooks/Demi Chef to join us in this exciting journey with the first Hyatt House in South East Asia. This position reports directly to the Lead Host – Kitchen/ Chef de Partie.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepares menu items in strict accordance with set recipes.
Adheres to all Hyatt Hotels hygiene standards and local hygiene laws.
Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
Stores foods in designated areas.
Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils, segregates and removes garbage.
Coordinates with Sales Department and follows up on food requests and meeting room setup in BEO, ensuring satisfaction for meeting planners and guests.
Coordinates with suppliers or contractors to ensure daily maintenance and monthly deep cleaning of all kitchen equipment.
Prepares food for Employee Restaurants on a daily basis.
Always complies with FIFO (first in/first out) process of the kitchen.
Familiar with daily mis en place, menu, and presentation of foods.
