Housekeeping Manager (Hotel)

Job Responsibilities: Perform daily inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure the best possible serviceMonitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas dailyEstablish and enforce high cleanliness and hygiene standards for guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfactionAssign specific duties to housekeeping staff, including room cleaning, laundry services, and public area maintenance.Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning suppliesDocument areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front officeEnsure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and makeRecruit, hire and train new housekeeping associatesEnsure the availability of materials and equipmentPerform staff reviews and encourage teamwork among staffResolve customer problems and complaintsJob Requirements: Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management or equivalent.2-3 years relevant working experience, preferably in hospital environment at supervisory level.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
