In this hands-on role, you will look to drive the productivity, motivation, and development of all Housekeeping Team Members, whilst ensuring high standards and company guidelines are maintained.We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Housekeeper to lead the day-to-day supervision and effective running of the housekeeping team and department.In-depth knowledge of housekeeping services, including a solid understanding of effective cleaning methods, equipment & machinery handling, chemical use, and manual handling techniques.Knowledge of rostering and scheduling, along with extensive experience in staff management.Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfactionOversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning suppliesDocument areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front officeEnsure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed.**Requirement**1. Diploma/ certificate in hospitality or related field.2. Proven experience as a housekeeper or cleaning professional.3. Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.4. Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.6. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.7. Must be able to communicate effectively by writing, telephone and personal meeting situations.8.
