Overview:
We're seeking an organized, proactive, and enthusiastic HR Assistant Intern to join our HR team. This role will provide hands-on experience in a range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative support. Ideal candidates are students or recent graduates in HR, business, or related fields.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
Assist in posting job openings on internal and external job boards. Screen resumes and schedule interviews. Communicate with candidates regarding interview details and feedback. Help maintain candidate records and update the applicant tracking system (ATS). Onboarding Assistance:
Assist in preparing onboarding materials for new hires. Facilitate new employee orientations and help them feel welcomed. Support in coordinating the setup of equipment, access, and documentation for new hires. Gather and file essential employee documents in compliance with HR policies. HR Administration:
Update and maintain employee records and databases. Organize and track HR documents, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Prepare and process paperwork, including contracts, HR letters, and payroll documentation. Provide administrative support for various HR initiatives and events. Employee Engagement & Development:
Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities. Help manage employee feedback, surveys, and initiatives for improvement. Support in organizing training sessions and maintaining training materials. HR Compliance:
Ensure HR practices are compliant with company policies and regulations. Support in compiling data for HR reports, audits, and compliance checks. Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Previous internship or experience in HR (preferred but not required). What You'll Gain:
