They are engage in the provision of engineering services and solutions for overhead and subsurface utilities, street lighting services, and substation EPCC services and equipment trading for substation.
Their expertise are in the underground and overhead electricity distribution; underground and overhead electricity transmission; and uUnderground fibre optic cabling systems for mobile networks.
Due to business expansion, they are looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of HR & Admin Manager.
Key Responsibilities includes: Responsible for the HR operations of the organizations including talent management, development and administration of HR policies and programs in order to maximize the quantity and quality of company talent.
Identify administrative needs and develop appropriate solutions and recommendations methods in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of workflow and office reporting procedures.
Maintain and enhance employee performance management system by creating meaningful evaluation on staff performance and contribution to organization.
Oversee and manage the work of internal Human Resources staff and encourages the ongoing staff development.
Oversee the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolve problems.
Establish an in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new employee on-boarding or orientation, management development, operation crosstraining, the measurement of training impact and training transfers.
Coach and train managers in their communication, feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with the employees who report to them.
Assist managers with the selection and contracting of external training programs and consultants.
Monitor and advises managers and supervisors in the progressive discipline system of the company.
Monitors the implementation of a performance improvement process with non-performing employees.
Establish the company wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises.
Interview management and executive position candidates: serves as part of the interview team for position finalists.
Establish and leads the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
Recommend changes in benefits offered, especially new benefits aimed at employee satisfaction and retention.
Lead company compliance with all existing governmental and labour legal and government reporting requirements including any related to the Employment Law 1955, The Industrial Relation Laws, Occupational Safety and Health Laws and so forth.
Responsible to maintain minimal company exposure to lawsuits.
Manage a process of organizational planning that evaluates company structure, job design, and personal forecasting throughout the company.
Evaluates, plans and changes to plans.
Makes recommendations to executive management.
Partner with management to communicate Human Resource policies, procedures, programs, and laws.
To participate and contribute in upkeeping the ISO Management Systems.
Requirements: 1.
Candidates must possess a bachelors degree / post graduate diploma or professional degree in human resource management or an equivalent qualification.
2.
A minimum of 5 years working experience in managerial role and preferably in constructions environment.
3.
In depth knowledge of the Employment Act 1955, Malaysian Labor Law, SOCSO, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Immigration, LHDN and foreign worker requirements.
4.
Experience in iPayroll software - HR2000 or a similar system.
5.
Be familiar with the ISO:9001 2015 Quality Management Standard, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements.
6.
Proficient in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
7.
A self-motivated team player with exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
8.
Experience using the Microsoft office suite programs is desirable.
(Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams etc) 9.
Organizational management skills.
10.
Ability to lead and develop team members.
