Job Description Job Summary: The HR Assistant will provide support to the HR department in various administrative tasks and processes. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including orientation sessions and the completion of required paperwork. Support employee relations initiatives by assisting with investigations, documenting complaints, and facilitating communication between employees and management. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries. Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence, such as offer letters, employment verifications, and disciplinary notices. Assist with performance management processes, including tracking performance evaluations and providing support to managers as needed. Coordinate training and development activities, including scheduling sessions and tracking employee participation. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and maintaining supplies. In addition, they maintain calendars for appointments, sort mail, make copies, and plan travel arrangements. Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed. Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Maintain compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed. Minimum Qualifications Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Internet & MS Team Works independently, deadline-focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and pro-active Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work with: Managers, executives, colleagues, departments, and clients. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and/or confidential information. Ability to react with appropriate level of urgency to situations and events that require quick response Preferred Qualifications Experienced in the HR Management System Providing Executive support to all level in a large publicly held organization is preferable. Education High School/Certificate/Diploma/Degree or any other relevant certificate that may be considered in lieu of a Dip/degree Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing, walking. Daily use a computer, phone and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand or sitting for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driving license is required.
