Responsibilities Ensuring all payroll activities, results and processes are compliant with company policies and statutory requirements. Ensure all payroll activities are executed timely and accurately including the filing of monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports. Exploring opportunities to simplify and automate payroll processes to ensure maximum cost-efficiency and effectiveness. Monitoring the performance of vendor against our Service Level Agreement. Participate in retrospective and performance review meetings with the payroll vendor. Monitor and manage the payroll vendor to ensure monthly payroll payout is accurate and on schedule. Validating test results provided by the payroll vendor for the rollout of new compensation and benefits programs or new statutory requirements. Support internal and external auditors ensuring deadlines are met and each request control, approval and validation checks are in place for the payroll processes. Coordinate and perform troubleshooting and investigations of payroll issue/problems and taking appropriate corrective actions. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Accounting and/or Finance. Minimum of 2-3 years of Payroll operations knowledge or practical experience in HR/Payroll; regional HR/payroll experience in a multinational environment is preferred. Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is essential due to the need to support Greater China Payroll. A team player with a pleasant personality, good attitude and the ability to work independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight deadlines.
