The HR Business Partner - Hybrid Role (based in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur)
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between our clients, offering comprehensive support across all HR domains. The incumbent will provide expert HR advice, fostering trust and rapport with clients while delivering proficient HR administrative assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main contact point for clients, addressing HR inquiries and providing guidance.
Offer qualified HR advice to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
Manage HR administrative tasks, including but not limited to onboarding processes in cloud HR software.
Oversee the entire onboarding process for new hires, including contract issuance and documentation collection.
Facilitate work pass applications and pre-employment checks as needed.
Handle employee-related letters and monitor the new hire confirmation process.
Administer employee benefits and manage claims, including government claims and leave applications.
Execute monthly and ad hoc payroll processing, along with statutory submissions.
Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records in HR cloud systems, including leave records.
Address external client HR queries promptly and effectively.
Support clients in annual salary review exercises and preparation of related employee letters.
Assist in government training grant applications for clients.
Manage other HR administrative functions such as insurance plan renewals.
Stay updated on HR regulations to ensure compliance.
Participate in ad hoc HR projects as necessary.
Do you meet the requirements?
A degree in a relevant discipline (not limited to HR faculty).
Exceptional bilingual proficiency in both Chinese and English, with fluent written and verbal communication abilities in both languages.
Minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in HR, payroll, and recruitment.
Proficiency in HR cloud software is advantageous.
Sound familiarity with the Employment Act and related tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Strong multitasking abilities, prioritization skills, and effective time management, even under pressure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Supervisory skills would be advantageous.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed.
