Reporting Line: Employee Experience Services Lead - APMEA & Europe
The HR Compliance Lead ensures adherence to legal and regulatory standards across the organization, with a focus on data integrity, ethical practices, and compliance. As an individual contributor, this role requires a deep understanding of global compliance requirements, technical proficiency, and effective communication to bridge technology and compliance across local and global teams.
Key responsibilities
Leverage technical expertise to support compliance initiatives, lead conflict-checking processes, and escalate risks to mitigate potential issues.
Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with local and global teams, collaborating with international counterparts to uphold consistent compliance practices.
Provide strategic advice to leadership on compliance matters, deliver employee training on policies and reporting mechanisms, and address compliance concerns effectively.
Monitor global regulatory developments, refine compliance processes, and implement best practices to mitigate organizational risk.
Exemplify ethical conduct, mentor team members to enhance their compliance proficiency, and foster a culture of accountability and compliance excellence.
Adhere to company policies, promptly report safety or operational concerns, utilize PPE in accordance with training, and escalate issues through appropriate channels.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in global compliance, risk management, or similar roles, preferably within a multinational corporation (MNC) or large accounting firms.
Relevant certifications such as NAFTA, CPA, EAR, ITAR, IAPP, ACFCS, or ACAMS are an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of global compliance frameworks, employment laws, and payroll regulations.
Expertise in GDPR assessment and application, as well as familiarity with CSRD, data protection laws, and global tax regimes.
Skilled in using PowerBI to analyze dashboards, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
Proven ability to implement Data and Compliance service delivery models across multiple geographies.
Comprehensive understanding of statutory rules, global tax systems, and expatriate payroll implications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
