Who We Are Durioo+ is a dynamic tech start-up company located in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. It was founded by the visionary Sinan Ismail, the creative mind behind the phenomenally successful preschool cartoons Omar & Hana and Didi & Friends. Both cartoons have amassed more than 18 million subscribers and an incredible 8 billion views on YouTube. As a proud member of Y-Combinator (W22), Durioo+ serves as a safe streaming platform for animations and videos designed specifically for Muslim children.
Durioo+ operates on a subscription-based model. We produce, co-produce, and license entertaining, ethical, and meaningful content tailored for Muslim children. Launched in February 2022, we already boast more than 36,000 paid subscribers and host over 9,000 pieces of content on our platform and numbers are growing every month. All our content is meticulously curated to align with Islamic teachings and values.
Our Mission Our goal is to build an ummah with Eeman, Akhlaq & Ilm by instilling good values, virtues, and Islamic teachings in children.
Our Future Plan Since launching the platform in February 2022, our focus has been on creating and licensing content while building a robust streaming platform. Durioo+ plans to expand with Durioo Games and Durioo Books in by 2025.

We are looking for an independent, detail oriented and a process driven person who is excited about owning the People function. This person will be responsible for owning the entire HR function including hiring, onboarding, team development, administration, employee relations, policy and procedure development, HR compliance, compensation, and benefits.
