Objectives of the Position Work in very dynamic environment collaborating with different units and multiple levels of HR teams to carry out the assigned HR M&A / divestiture projects within Asia Pacific depends on the project nature, scale, and actual need Main Tasks Depend on the project scope, the incumbent will lead or participate following activities in the HR M&A, integration, or divestiture projects: HR M&A – HR due diligence, information research, quantitative analysis and qualitative recommendation, negotiation support, contracts review, closing readiness implementation and tracking, labour relations recommendations, etc. HR Integration – policies comparison, policies integration/ harmonization recommendations and implementations, HR organization review and change management, training coordination, integration planning etc. HR Divestiture – carve out HR systems & policies, source of HR service/ benefits vendors, support new entity setup and HR system/policy formation, employee communications, off boarding arrangement, etc. The incumbent will also be responsible for supporting Compensation and Benefits matters (annual cycle, policies management, queries management, stakeholder managements) for selected country (s) and making sure HR M&A team are kept abreast with developments in C&B projects, updates, policies and ensure alignment with ongoing M&A projects. Participate in global community on demand to provide training to relevant HR stakeholders Develop and enhance HR due diligence database, HR tools / templates for related activities (M&A and C&B) Requirements Education
Holder of Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related disciplines Working Experience & Skills
6 years of hands-on HR experience in a sizable organization with multiple business units in environment of diverse culture. Less experience could also be considered Technical & Professional Knowledge
Strong HR generalist knowledge with experience in HR policies/ Compensation & Benefits Good knowledge of labor legislation in multiple countries in APAC region Previous experience in HR project management/execution, or M&A/integration preferred Good interpersonal and communication skills, detail-oriented with excellent analytical capability and problem-solving mindset, able to deliver under time pressure in very dynamic environment Professionals with corporate HR or HR consulting background are welcome to apply Fluent in English, both oral and written, with an additional Asian language (preferably Mandarin due to significance coverage of projects in China) Good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint BASF Asia-Pacific Service Centre was established in 2005.
