Job Overview This position reports to the HR Director at HQ office. He/she is responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions, planning and execution, including but not limited to, payroll, Compensation & Benefits (C&B), recruitment, training and development, discipline, manpower planning, talent management, and any other HR related matters.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Contribute to the preparation of HR annual budget and monitor the financial performance and productivity of the employees. Build a robust organizational structure with the right level of resources to meet the business and talent requirements of the Company Manage, review and budget for effective C&B (company headcount, manpower cost, compensation, employee welfare & benefits) in line with business plan Review with respective heads to map out manpower requirements and streamline processes and job roles. Develop an operational plan to translate this into effective and responsive business units. Manage the C&B of employees. Lead the recruitment process based on the job requirements and manpower planning. Attract, onboard, develop, train, motivate and retain high-performance employees. Ensure effective staffing, professional development, and development of employee of respective department in consultation with department heads. Execute HR policies and procedures in line with business objectives and in compliance with local labor law and related statutory legislation. Develop HR objectives, KPIs, annual operational and strategic plans aligned with business operations. Oversee overall performance of the employees, ensure KPIs are well-developed, cascaded, communicated, and monitored. Execute the performance evaluation and reward strategy – merit increase and bonus appraisal. Work together with department heads to drive performance of the employees Talent management activities and initiatives. Provide input to department strategy and align with overall vision and mission. Execute change management initiatives across the Company. Provide reports and analytics on HR data such as staff turnover, cost per hire etc. for global reporting, and lead the necessary actions for improvements. Advise and communicate with managers on various issues pertaining to HR, e.g. performance, disciplinary, HR policies, labor law, etc. Manage HR transactional activities, employee data management and employment related documents. Ensure accurate employee files and records are maintained Attend to government and statutory bodies' inquires, inspections, audits as and when required. WE WANT SOMEONE WHO: Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field Minimum 8 years' working experience as HR generalist with 3 years in managerial position. Sound knowledge of Malaysia labor laws and HR practices. Harmonization project experience is advantageous. Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Strong communication skills, excellent stakeholder management, good articulation of thoughts and influencing skills.
