This role collaborates with the broader HR function to plan, handle, and complete HR & Payroll Operations projects. Its focus is on driving continuous improvement through handled change, aligning with established objectives, timelines, and quality standards while achieving cost savings and improving service capabilities.
Additionally, the role oversees the development of the HR and Payroll Operations process library and leads change control processes to maintain the integrity of the operating model. Close coordination with HR and Finance ensures flawless integration of business changes into the operating model, supported by clear communication and appropriate process documentation.
What will you be doing? Strategy & Planning - this role is integral to the Service Excellence and Development team, contributing to establishing the service's strategic direction, formulating business plans, setting standards, and supervising overall performance.
Service Development - Projects, Compliance & Initiatives - the responsibilities encompass prioritisation and delivering HR & Payroll Operations projects/initiatives for continuous improvement while adhering to the operating model. Additionally, it involves collaborating with wider HR and Finance functions to deliver a portfolio of projects. This includes facilitating impact analysis, mobilizing resources, and leading change processes. The role also involves developing and implementing communication strategies, maintaining process libraries, and driving service improvements.
Building and Leading Teams - the role ensures team members receive appropriate training and development, supports staff induction, and collaborates with service leads to implement training plans. This involves upskilling teams impacted by changes and encouraging a high-performance service culture.
Relationship Management: Acting as a champion for customer focus, the role efficiently communicates with customers and stakeholders, captures feedback, and takes action for continuous improvement. It collaborates closely with the wider HR function to align services with business needs and objectives across various geographies, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and processes.
What will you need to be successful? The ideal candidate should possess a degree level education or equivalent, with preferred qualifications in Project Management or Lean Six Sigma. Fluency in English is required, with multilingual capabilities considered advantageous.
In terms of experience, the candidate should have 5 to 7 years of experience in HR, Payroll, or project management, ideally within a Shared Services function. They should demonstrate shown expertise in service management and development within service and contact centres. Additionally, experience in implementing service quality and process improvement methodologies and handling projects within a matrixed organization is crucial.
Key competencies include the ability to shape direction by seeing the big picture and translating strategy into specific goals. Relationship leadership skills are crucial, as the candidate must effectively engage and handle stakeholders while understanding their needs. They should also demonstrate strong business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and a reputation for delivery, consistently meeting service standards and deadlines.

They should excel in project management and continuous improvement, positively impacting customer satisfaction and employee experience.
