Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and assist in preparing and improving Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment (RA), Safe Operating Procedure (SOP) and Job Hazard Analysis at work areas.
Ensure the HSE Risk Register is monitored and well updated.
Conduct daily Safety & Health, Environmental Inspection, submit the report of findings and follow up action to be taken.
Coordinate and maintain Safety and Health, Environmental Data Administrations.
Data Entry, collection, collation and safekeeping of all HSE documents.
Assist and conduct Investigation including preparing full report on all occurrences in any incident or accident related to HSE.
Assist in the implementation of the NOV EPS HSE Procedures, NOV Best Management Practices (BMPs), HSE workplace improvement programs.
Coordinate internal / external HSE Inspection, Audits and follow up actions on the results.
Assist in coordinating/delivering any HSE training programs, activities or promotions at the workplace.
Assist in coordinating any issues with local Authorities or Government Agencies: D.O.S.H, D.O.E, Ministry of Health, Fire & Rescue Dept, Police Department and others.
Assist in checking and monitoring all Certified Machineries, Fire Safety Systems and other equipment for the purpose of maintaining safe work practices and conditions in plants.
Conduct routine checking and enforcement related to HSE requirements in compliance with Company's Policy and Procedures to all levels of employees, internal and external Contractors, Vendors and Visitors.
Assist in monitoring unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, near hit reports at workplaces, and corrective and preventive actions taken.
Manage eSWIS system for reporting to DOE as per statutory requirements and other Environmental Compliances as stated in the Local Acts and Regulations.
Promote safety culture and mitigate potential risk and hazard in operations.
Participate and assist in coordinating 5S activities under HSE and at workplaces.
Any other duties and responsibilities as required by Management.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or engineering science from any professional body or institution with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
Candidate with Safety & Health Officer (SHO) Certificate from NIOSH or other recognized and certified Institutions.
Ability to work independently and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements.
Possess a positive attitude, discipline, good interpersonal skills, and systematic approach.
Experience in a Manufacturing environment, knowledge in ISO 14001 / ISO 45001.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
Able to plan, organize, evaluate and lead activity schedules and direct the work of others.
Exhibit a good attitude and demonstrate interpersonal skills to work with people from different backgrounds.
Competent Person (CP) for the following competencies is preferred and advantageous:
CePSWaM - Certified Environmental Professionals in Scheduled Waste Management.
CePBFO - Certified Environmental Professionals in Bag Filter Operation.
CePSTPO - Certified Environmental Professionals in Sewage Treatment Plant Operation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
