Health, Safety & Environment (Construction)
Full time
Minimum Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least diploma or bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health.
Registered as Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience as Safety & Health Officer (SHO).
Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of all HSE regulations and requirements.
Able to work under pressure, independently, and work effectively with internal and external parties.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Job Responsibilities:
To develop and implement the safety policies and procedures for the company's operations.
To provide guidance and advice for HSE matters in relation to operations and ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
To oversee and plan the HSE manpower and ensure site effectiveness and efficiencies.
Responsible for all HSE activities in the company.
To lead and support all audits related to HSE matters.
To ensure all action plans from the audit/activity are closed in a timely manner.
To conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop corrective and improvement plans.
To conduct and coordinate all the HSE-related trainings to support the knowledge, skills, and requirements for the team members.
To review departmental reporting and maintain all records and documentation.
To liaise with regulatory bodies (i.e., CIDB, JKKP, DOSH, etc.) to ensure compliance.
Other duties assigned by the reporting superior.
