Job description
OperationsOrganises the onsite maintenance operations which are related to maintenance of safety equipment.
Assists the planning team by providing technical support for the preparation of jobs in his discipline.
Assists vendors coming on site to perform surveys or provide occasional services related to safety equipment.
Ensures that the company's HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures and standard industry practices) during the performance of maintenance operations under his responsibility.
Supports and develops HSE skills on site.
Develops safety procedures for the safe execution of the work.
Takes charge of safety equipment in case of breakdown until correct operational status is restored.
Monitors the status of all safety equipment.
MethodsIdentifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them, and suggests improvements.
Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts.
Suggests improvements and requests modifications.
Monitors the functioning of safety equipment by following important parameters of the packages.
Quality AssuranceVerifies the quality of interventions through frequent on-site checks.
Profile
10 years of experience in industrial plants, as a safety engineer during erection and commissioning or during normal production.
