Responsibilities
Responsible to lead, manage and oversee the full spectrum of HR-related strategic and operational matters.
Understand the dynamics of business and work with Management to promote confidence and acceptance of the Company's objectives and policies; build a plan to strengthen the Company's competitiveness through human resources.
Meet external compliance on rules & regulations related to people, safety & health; including labor law, Covid control plan, etc.
Manage and enforce internal compliance on rules & regulations related to people, safety & health; including Company / HR policy, knowledge base, etc.
Operation
Work closely with Head of Departments and Team Leaders to execute HR functions proactively and correctly.
Understand, update, and execute compliance while meeting local culture HR needs in business where the company has extended operations; including but not limited to Indonesia, Sabah, and future needs.
Develop Employee Engagement Program systems and follow through, including the establishment of effective communication systems in the new working norm, and quality recruitment to ensure a 'good fit' to company culture, propagating company values, etc.
Collaborate with Management on developing, maintaining, and enhancing the key performance indices for the company.
Work with Management for the development of the Performance Management System and follow through the execution with all stakeholders such as the Head of Department and Appraisees.
Provide feedback from the ground that facilitates system improvement to Management as required.
Conduct pulse surveys to gauge employees' views and motivation about their working environment.
Perform a compensation and benefits review across the industry and recommend a suitable placement for the Company.
Collaborate with Management to perform continuous reviews on the efficiency and effectiveness of HR systems to ensure HR systems, policies, and practices serve the company's objectives, are clearly communicated to all levels, and that all employees understand and comply with the guidelines.
Manage the foreign workers sourcing process to ensure it is cost-effective and meets the Company's manpower needs.
Manage servers and documentation control for the HR department.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Human Resource Management, or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as the role requires dealing with Mandarin-speaking management.
At least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably a Manager specialized in Human Resources or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of working experience.
Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, HRIS, Compensation & Benefit, Recruitment, Foreign Worker Management, Learning & Development, IR & ER.
Good leadership qualities, sound business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
