Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Manager who is fluent in Chinese to join our dynamic team.
This role requires excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, as well as a deep understanding of Malaysian labour laws and regulations.
The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in supporting the company's objectives by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while fostering a positive work culture and environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with the company's objectives and values.
Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing, leave management, and insurance plans.
Oversee performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans.
Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention through effective communication, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management, recommending improvements and innovations as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management, preferably in the automotive industry.
Fluent in both Chinese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, regulations, and employment practices.
Proven track record in recruitment, talent management, and employee relations.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
