Human Resource Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join our team and play a key role in managing and enhancing human resource functions.
The HR Officer will be responsible for overseeing recruitment processes, employee relations, training and development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
As part of the HR team, the HR Officer will ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations and actively contribute to developing policies, programs, and initiatives that support both employee well-being and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and specifications for various roles.
- Develop strategies for attracting top talent across all departments.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement programs.
- Ensure disciplinary procedures are carried out fairly and in line with company policy.
Training and Development:
- Identify and coordinate training sessions for employees.
- Support the implementation of in-house training programs for career development.
Performance Management:
- Assist in performance appraisals and provide support for continuous performance improvement.
Compliance and Policy Implementation:
- Ensure company policies comply with local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Handle HR-related audits and reporting requirements.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Assist in managing payroll processes, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions.
- Oversee employee benefits and welfare programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Administrative Support:
- Prepare HR-related reports, memos, and documentation as required.
Qualifications and Skills:- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in HR roles.
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software/tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
