The HR Associate oversees general HR operations within Ilham Dining Concepts (IDC), a company that specializes in the production and/or service of food and beverages.- 1. Recruitment and Staffing:_- Manage the recruitment process for various roles, from kitchen staff to servers and management positions. Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs and plan for seasonal variations in workforce requirements. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations when hiring and onboarding staff.- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices. Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents. Address health and safety concerns and provide employee training on these matters.- 3. Employee Relations:_- Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive and productive work environment. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, especially those related to food safety and hygiene. Handle issues related to tips, gratuities, and service charges for front-of-house staff.- Administer employee benefits, such as healthcare and retirement plans, ensuring they comply with industry standards and regulations. Manage compensation packages, including SST and gratuities distribution for front-of-house staff. Stay informed about industry-specific compensation trends and adjust compensation packages accordingly.- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations specific to the food and beverage industry. Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, especially for tipped employees. Handle workers' compensations and unemployment claims as needed.- **Qualifications**:_- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is often preferred.- 3-4 years of HR management experience, with some experience in the food and beverage industry being a plus.- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements in the industry.- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.- Familiarity with compensation structures for tipped employees.- Understanding of sustainability practices within the food and beverage sector.- Ability to adapt to the dynamic and sometimes seasonal nature of the industry.**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)
