Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing human resources within financial institutions and shared services entities. This role will focus on optimizing HR processes, ensuring compliance, and managing payroll effectively.
Key Responsibilities: HR Strategy DevelopmentDevelop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.Collaborate with headquarters / Head of Group HR to address HR needs and drive organizational change.Manage multiple entities with different HR approaches in order to meet business objectives of different nature.Ensure HR policies comply with local manpower laws and regulation at all times. 2. Payroll and Reporting Oversee the payroll process of multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Manage payroll-related queries and provide guidance to staff on payroll policies and practices.Prepare and maintain HR reports and analytics to track HR metrics.Manage manpower budget. 3. Talent Management Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.Work closely with hiring managers across various countries to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.Manage employee life cycle and all staff movements end-to-end.Develop and manage performance appraisal systems that drive employee performance.Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.Use various compensation elements to motivate performance and reward staff in different job scopes.Review and suggest staff benefits improvements.4. Culture Building Foster a positive workplace culture and address employee concerns effectively.Implement employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.Promote continuous professional development opportunities for staff. Pre-requisites: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on financial institutions and shared services.Strong knowledge of payroll systems and labour laws in Malaysia.Possesses a keen interest to work in a dynamic environment with cross-border exposure beyond Malaysia. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and maturity.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
