ResponsibilitiesDrive team to deliver I2C operation results to target and manage effectively the processes.
Analyze overdue debt and collection effectiveness for the cluster of countries to identify improvements and strategize plans to improve I2C results.
Act as a business partner for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure sound risk management as well as identify and action on opportunities to realize revenue growth.
Be the process coach for the I2C KL team; this includes providing process guidance and collaborating with global I2C Global Process teams to discuss improvement areas and/or to execute changes to processes.
Ensure that the team executes their activities in compliance with AkzoNobel policies and procedures.
Be the first point of escalation for I2C KL operations matters.
Support global projects and improvements to reach the required milestones.
Deliver on deadlines, monitor activities and processes.
Ability to work and secure leadership under stress.
Ability to deliver in short deadlines.
Advise on the development of the organization.
Drive changes; be agile to adapt to changes quickly.
Work on continuous improvement.
Guide the team in effective problem-solving techniques.
Evaluate problems and apply solutions within I2C or cross-functionally with other stakeholders.
Provide guidance to new team leads in KL.
Job RequirementsDegree level in Finance/Accounting/Business or equivalent.
10+ years finance and/or Credit management level experience, with a minimum of 5 years' experience managing a Credit & Collections team.
Experience working in a matrix organization.
Demonstrated leadership within a multicultural environment.
Experience in SAP/CFIN and other ERP systems.
Tactical thinking and ability to make a difference at a regional level.
Business Partnership and people affiliation skills.
Experience in the implementation of standard processes (change management skills).
Able to set priorities, delegate, and develop a team independently and proactively.
Full order to cash end-to-end process knowledge and experience.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Experience in a sales/customer-focused commercial role.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Extended knowledge of the Order To Cash end-to-end process and experience.
Experience in a customer-focused role, with real passion.
