Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as an IBM Planning Analytics Developer. This position will be responsible to provide development and support to TM1/IBM Planning Analytics (PA) implementations. In this role, you will support value-added initiatives determined by business prioritization. You will work as a team, with fellow team members in Malaysia and the Americas, specifically understanding and building financial budgeting and forecasting models for stakeholders across the Huntsman enterprise. The scope will include requirement-gathering, design, development, and delivery of the solution. As part of this effort, you will work closely with the business and all levels of the organization. You will also interact heavily with Huntsman Global IT.
The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As an IBM Planning Analytics Developer you will:Support targeted Planning Analytics solution design, development and delivery.
Help bridge the understanding gap between business problems or opportunities and PA solutions.
Understand and apply SAP data sets and business structure to the creation of PA solutions.
Collaborate with the Global IT team on governance, peer reviews, connectivity, and infrastructure related to the Huntsman PA Cloud environments.
Support business and function teams in validating and troubleshooting PA solutions.
Follow IBM functionality releases to the PA Cloud environment, understand how they can be applied to current and future business.
Perform PA model changes that may be required in existing applications.
Support troubleshooting and other related activities as required during period close.
Provide hands-on development solutions in PA.
Work with all levels of the organization to understand business processes and areas for improvement.
Understand complex financial forecasting models and can translate into PA solutions.
Effectively communicate with Huntsman senior management and executives.
Collaborate with Global IT to identify a best-fit solution and adhere to ideal guided practices.
Follow instructions and perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Assist other employees in the accomplishment of Huntsman company goals.
Participate in and complete company-required training programs.
Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
What skills and experiences are we looking for?Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science with experience in Global Manufacturing, TM1 / PA, Pivot Tables (Excel).
Understanding of and demonstrated experience with all areas of IBM PA / TM1 Development to include cube design, data integration (turbo integrator), business rule design and creation, and report design and creation using PA tools (PAW & PAX).
Understanding of and demonstrated experience creating IBM PA / TM1 solutions using an underlying SAP data set.
Ideally 2+ years of experience working on TM1 / PA solutions for a global manufacturing company.
Good interpersonal skills, an ability to work with diverse teams from around the world.
Self-driven with a commitment to meeting deadlines and a desire to deliver at pace.
2+ years of experience in the areas of Management Accounting and Financial Accounting.
Past experience working with data, to include relational databases, SAP Hana, and Excel pivot tables.
OLAP / Cube Based Technical Skills.
Interpersonal and strong communication skills.
Organized and due date driven.
Diverse technical skill set with a preference towards ERP systems, SAP Hana, Informatica, and IBM Products.
TM1/IBM Planning Analytics skills including cube and TI development.
