ICT Executive (Helpdesk & Technical Support) (Temporary, Jan - July 2025)We are looking for an ICT Executive to join our team on a contract basis.
You will report to the ICT Manager and provide first-line technical support for staff, students, and parents, ensuring smooth access to technology across the school.
This role involves troubleshooting issues, managing service requests, and maintaining hardware/software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for ICT service requests (via Helpdesk system, email, and phone).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computers (Mac/Windows), printers, and mobile devices (iPads).
Maintain and support Windows and iMac systems in the computer labs.
Assist with configuring and connecting BYOD devices to the network.
Ensure system updates, hardware maintenance, and proper record-keeping of ICT resources.
Support ICT resources in classrooms and faculty areas.
Liaise with vendors for specialized technical support.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and school policies.
Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Helpdesk or Desktop Support role.
Skills:
Troubleshooting knowledge of Windows/macOS systems.
Familiarity with Google Workspace and educational technologies.
Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, IP configuration, DNS).
Experience with ITSM tools (ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Patience and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
