Who are we looking for individuals with:
Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting Education.
Thorough understanding of classroom management and school protocols.
Comprehensive knowledge of the IGCSE Accounting curriculum, including subject-specific content and assessments.
Proficiency in utilizing technology and computer applications as necessary.
Up-to-date with the latest advancements in Accounting teaching methodologies and topics.
Demonstrates strong abilities in logical reasoning, problem-solving, critical thinking, numerical proficiency, analytical thinking, attention to detail, persistence, abstract thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and computational skills.
Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience.
What will you need to do:
Teaching up to 18 hours of accounting lessons per week to secondary students.
Instructing students, assigning and grading homework, and maintaining classroom management.
Adapting teaching methods to align with the 21st century learning and teaching approach.
Delivering enrichment and enhancement activities tailored to students' needs.
Valuing and supporting students to help them reach their full potential.
Planning and preparing high-quality learning and teaching materials as per the requirements set by the Division Manager.
Engaging in curriculum development and planning initiatives.
Taking responsibility for achieving targets related to student retention, attendance, academic achievements, high grades, added value, and student satisfaction.
Undertaking additional duties as assigned, including class teacher's role and also providing cover for absent teachers when necessary.
Conducting or participating in at least one Co-curricular Activity (CCA) program.
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of students' progress and development.
Participating in marketing activities organized by the school when requested.
Open minded to receive constructive feedback with the flexibility and adaptability to improve oneself for the betterment of the students.
