Job Responsibilities:To manage customs declarations for the raw material and finished goods.
To facilitate communication with customs brokers and supervise the arrival schedule for shipments, ensuring all import documentation is accurate and complete.
To maintain accurate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data to ensure the internal team adheres to strategic delivery plans.
To monitor daily loading/unloading activities, organize container deliveries with fleets, and supervise the transfer of raw materials to and from warehouses, including applying for customs forms and other required documentation.
To record and verify pertinent costs, arranging invoices for the finance team.
To develop and sustain excellent connections with suppliers, fleets, and freight forwarders.
To coordinate with fleets and warehouses to resolve on-site difficulties, organize bills, and problem-solve express delivery challenges.
Also execute ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements:The candidate must possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably Supply Chain Management/Logistics.
Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality.
Required languages include Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English.
Candidates fluent in Mandarin are preferred as the role involves working with a Mandarin-speaking company.
Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and additional automation standards will be advantageous.
Extensive knowledge of customs documentation, HS codes, and tariff classification.
